Nightingale - Fullstack Developers

Nightingale Health is looking for Fullstack Developers to join their software development team. You can build digital services and products aimed at giving people the most precise, comprehensive, and reliable view of their wellbeing and help making informed decisions for better health or create the infrastructure for delivering personalised health insights to their customers and build and develop Nightingale’s information systems used by their worldwide network of blood-testing laboratories.
The talented team of experienced software developers are working on Nightingale’s direct-to-consumer services, and services offered together with Nightingale’s partners in different markets or on the development of the core internal systems in Nightingale. The development work is multi-functional and combines expertise from diverse backgrounds ranging from epidemiology, analytical chemistry and NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) spectroscopy to service design, UX and data science.
Here is what you will do:
- Be part of Nightingale’s agile software development team. Your exact responsibilities can be tailored based on your previous experience and interests.
- Work on innovative consumer health products that help people take control of their wellbeing and future health.
- Develop a mobile app (developed on React Native), web services, backend (handling user-management, APIs and database), or develop the core systems; laboratory information management system, APIs and infrastructure.
- Get an opportunity to dive deeper into biotech in a fast-growing health industry.
Technologies you will work with:
React, TypeScript, Node.js, AWS, Docker as well as either React Native, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, Hasura or Material-UI, Electron, Meteor, Apache Kafka, MongoDB.
You will be a perfect fit if you:
- Have at least 3-5 years of hands-on full-stack and/or mobile development experience.
- Have a pragmatic and proactive attitude, and you are eager to learn new things and thrive in a diverse environment where teams work towards a common goal.
- Enjoy taking ownership in developing either core systems in the long run or working with customer interfaces and developing custom-made solutions in a rapidly changing environment.

This is a full-time position based in Helsinki / remote.
