Witted is looking for a Business Development Lead for Sweden.
What the role offers you
You will get a lot of freedom and responsibility in growing the company in the market the way you see fit. You will have the support of your colleagues both in Sweden and cross-borders in Finland, Norway, Denmark, and the United States.
This is an opportunity to build something completely new, yet still with a proven recipe for success, so you don’t need to reinvent the wheel. The business, led by Finnish and Norwegian markets has rapidly grown to a profitable 450-person operation. The opportunity to grow the company goes hand in hand with growing yourself, too – as the Swedish operations grow, you will have bigger shoes to fill, too.
As Witted has only recently entered the Swedish market, growing brand awareness is on the top of your task list. The exact toolbox for that is up to you and is based on your market analysis. We expect events and marketing communications (in co-op with our HQ marketing team) to be notable tools.
Our working culture doesn’t have legacy practices dragging it down. You’ll have the free choice of your personal working tools and how you arrange your work, being remote whenever client work allows. What we need from you
The position as a business developer at Witted is largely about analyzing the market, customers and competitors, identifying new business opportunities, concepts and services, and driving their sales. We have long-term ambitions and need well-founded, sustainable business models that you will be responsible for designing.
You must also recruit the necessary expertise and work with the development of already established products and services in the Witted portfolio. For the right person, this is a unique position, with opportunities to shape the software market of the future with one of the Nordic region's largest players behind it.
As long as you’re strongly self-driven, good at what you do, and love your work, there are only a couple of requirements.
You need to:
Be working in the Stockholm area
Speak native Swedish and fluent English
Have experience in IT solutions sales.
Have an excellent personal network of IT executives and developers and enthusiasm to expand it even further.
In addition, you must be able to recruit the necessary expertise, strengthen and improve established products, write business plans, design concrete business models and drive digital business development.
