Until today, we have grown to 15,000 merchants processing over $500m in 10 million transactions and are on a mission to replicate this success across Africa.

We are now building our software team in Finland and looking for a Senior Software Architect to join the team!

As a Senior Software Architect at ZirooPay, you will:

• Use technical expertise to help us to define the long-term strategy for our digital payment solutions

• Determine the requirements for technical solutions regarding functionality, scalability and security

• Facilitate the cooperation between business and software development teams

• Drive team product priorities, deadlines and deliverables

What are we looking for?

• Prior experience in building digital payment products and their associated architectures

• Knowledge of programming languages in our tech stack: (Either Scala or Kotlin or both. JavaScript)

• Experience in building and maintaining databases (MySQL, Postgres, NoSQL)

• Good understanding of REST APIs and microservice architecture

• A very hands-on way of working and the ability to work independently in an autonomous and agile environment

• A curious mind and willingness to learn

Bonus points if you have:

• Knowledge of payment processing standards (PCI-DSS, EMV, ISO8583)

• Prior experience working in a startup/growth company environment
