Until today, we have grown to 15,000 merchants processing over $500m in 10 million transactions and are on a mission to replicate this success across Africa.

We are now building our software team in Finland and looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join the team!

As a Senior Software Engineer at ZirooPay, you will:

• Take ownership of our existing product and together with the team, drive the development and continuous improvement of our platform

• Build API integrations

• Ensure the reliability of our system as the product and volumes grow

What are we looking for?

• Proficiency in at least one of the following: Java, Scala or Kotlin

• Experience of working with AWS and maintaining databases (MySQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL)

• Experience with Spring framework and API and REST based services

• Previous experience of building scalable products

• A very hands-on way of working and the ability to work independently in an autonomous and agile environment

• A curious mind and willingness to learn

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience of working in a startup/growth company environment

• Experience of working with (multichannel) payment products or other security critical products
