Would you be interested in taking responsibility for a key development project that supports Veikkaus’ growth?

We are looking for an experienced and technically skilled Development Manager to lead a strategically important project focused on building a new Aggregation Platform for Games. In this key role, you’ll take the lead in developing a new system that enables the global distribution, sales, and scaling of games. This isn’t just about building a platform — it’s about creating a critical solution that supports Veikkaus’ growth and opens access to global markets.

Veikkaus’ gaming infrastructure processes vast amounts of data and supports hundreds of games from multiple providers every single day. The new Aggregation Platform adds a central layer to this ecosystem — a unified access point for efficiently delivering and distributing gaming content. More than just a technical enabler, the platform is built for true scalability, speed, and business impact. It enhances Veikkaus’ ability to offer a wide range of responsible gaming experiences, while streamlining service integration with partners.

In this role, you’ll act as a technical product owner, leading a skilled international development team using agile methods. You’ll identify, prioritize, and drive business-driven development needs — from concept to execution. The work is done in close collaboration with Veikkaus leadership, business experts, developers, and stakeholders across the board.

We hope you have

• Proven ability to lead and inspire development teams in an agile environment

• Strong prioritization skills and a goal-driven approach to managing development initiatives

• Solid technical expertise and hands-on experience working with integration platforms or high-availability systems

• Knowledge of integration design, data management, and public cloud development, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments

• Fluency in English, both spoken and written

Considered a plus

• Background in programming or software development

• Experience working on Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) or similar systems

• Previous experience as a Tech Lead or Scrum Master

• Experience in technical product ownership or leadership roles

• Familiarity with data-driven development or the gaming industry
